Sims stop walking through tables and desks
- Furniture that sims used to walk straight through is solid again. A group of custom and converted tables, desks and diner booths – among them the Whythern Hall Witengemot and Fallstaff and Whytch banquet tables – told the pathfinder they could be walked over, even though the game refused to let you place anything on top of them. Sims now route around them like any other table. Placed furniture picks this up the next time the lot loads.
Performance optimizations
- The game holds onto less memory the longer you play. We fixed several places where graphics memory wasn’t being freed when it should have been — most noticeably every time you left a lot. Memory usage should stay much flatter over long sessions instead of climbing the more lots you visit.
- Fixed a rare freeze/crash risk during busy moments, such as a crowded chat window or opening the community leaderboard, caused by two parts of the game trying to read the same cached data at the same time.
- Lot thumbnails in the city view clean themselves up properly now, instead of some getting stuck in memory forever.
- General cleanup of catalog icons, avatar portraits, and other rendering leftovers that weren’t always being released when they should have been.
Cleaned up the potion table’s pie menu
- Removed a set of broken admin commands from the Chemistry Set’s pie menu to declutter it.
