Owning a Lot

When you buy a lot, you become the Owner. As the owner, you have full control – you can build, buy objects, invite roommates, and kick people out.

Roommate Tiers

Visitor – Just hang out and use objects
Roommate – Live there, use objects, but can’t build
Build Roommate – Same as roommate, plus can build
Owner – Full control over everything

Becoming a Roommate
The lot owner invites you while you’re visiting their lot, or via your profile.
If you accept, you’re now a roommate!

Living at Multiple Lots

Living at Multiple Lots
You can be a roommate at up to 3 different lots at the same time

This means you can:

  1. Own a house
  2. Be A roomie at a friend’s Place
  3. Help out at a third lot

Once you’re already a roommate at 3 lots, you won’t be able to accept any more invites until you move out of one.

Lot Limits

Each lot can have a maximum of 8 roommates (including the owner).

If The Owner Leaves

If the owner moves out or deletes their account, one of the remaining roommates automatically becomes the new owner. The lot doesn’t just disappear!

What if ALL remaining roommates already own lots?

The lot gets deleted!

Since you can only own one residential lot at a time, if every remaining roommate already has their own property, nobody can inherit ownership. In this case:

The lot’s owner is set to “nobody”
All remaining roommates are removed from the lot
When the lot shuts down, it gets deleted from the map
Tip: If you’re the owner and planning to leave, make sure at least one of your roommates doesn’t already own a lot – otherwise everyone loses the property!
