@everyone Good morning! We want to sincerely apologize for the hiccup with today’s update. We understand that this has caused some confusion and frustration, and we recognize that it is more complex than we initially intended. Our goal has always been to make this experience as seamless as possible, and we’ve missed the mark in this case. Please know that we are actively working to fix this. To help resolve the issue, please follow the steps below: For PC Users: Download the Latest Update: Click the link to download the latest update file: https://nsoupdates.s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com/updates/TheNewSimsOnline_latest.zip Unzip the File: Once downloaded, unzip the contents of the file. Rename the Folder: Rename the extracted folder to NEWSO. Replace Your Current NewSO Folder: Navigate to C:\Program Files\NewSO Game\NewSO and replace the existing folder with the NEWSO folder that you just renamed. This will restore your game and get you back up and running. We made a tactical error and rushed out this update out of excitement, and this will likely affect new installs until the PC launcher is finished. For Mac Users: If you are using the Mac launcher, you can simply delete your current NewSO folder and reinstall the game using the launcher. This should bypass the issues caused by the update. Moving Forward: I’ve realized that my focus needs to shift back to improving the PC launcher, and we are committed to getting this fixed as quickly as possible.
