Owners can now Force Open and Force Close any door
- **Every door now has owner-only “Force Open” and “Force Closed” options on its pie menu.** Property owners (and whoever placed the door) can now hold any door or gate open – it stays open even as sims walk through – or snap it shut again, just like the classic Game Door. Roommates and visitors don’t see the options, and door permissions work exactly as before. A held-open door remembers its state, even across lot reloads. Thanks to Riekoche for the request.
Mini golf greens no longer swallow your feet
- Sims no longer sink into the Magic Town mini golf holes. Standing on any of the four mini golf courses – the plain green, the Clown, the Dragon and the Windmill – buried a sim’s feet and shins in the turf, as if the green were quicksand. The far half of each green’s artwork was drawing slightly in front of anything standing on it. Sims now stand properly on top of the green, putter in hand and shoes visible. Thanks to squeezannah for the report (and the adorable windmill garden).
Servo no longer crashes the lot while gardening
- Servo can garden safely again. When Servo went to water flowers, he could get stuck endlessly re-deciding to water the same plant, freezing the lot and popping a “SimAntics Exception” error for everyone before resetting him. He now queues up each thirsty plant once, waters them one by one, and takes his gardening hat off when he’s done.
Launcher now fits on smaller laptop screens
- The launcher automatically shrinks to fit your screen. On laptops with smaller screens or high display scaling, the launcher used to open bigger than the desktop itself, with parts of it cut off and no way to resize it. It now scales itself down so the whole window is always visible. (Ships with the next launcher update.)
